The aim of marriage grant is to provide financial assistance to the unmarried women who or their guardians cannot afford marriage expenses.Its current rate is 20,000 PKR.
Eligibility Criteria
Any poor, needy and deserving woman or her parent/guardian can apply for this grant.
How to apply
The mustahiq can apply to Local Zakat Committee for Marriage Assistance. Local Zakat committee will determine istahqaq and will process to District Zakat Committee which will release funds as per procedure to the Local Zakat Committee concerned. Payment will be made through Branchless banking.
